IMPORTANT: DO NOT UPDATE THE TPM AS LONG AS YOUR DRIVES ARE ENCRYPTED VIA BITLOCKER OR YOUR DATA WILL BE LOST!!!

HOW-TO:

1.     Copy the files (without the INFINEON_TPM_1.2_2.0 folder) to the root of a freshly formatted USB stick and plug it into the system
2.     Check the current TPM Version on the system and note it down:
        - Click on the Windows Search Bar
        - Type 'run' and confirm with "Enter'
        - Type tpm.msc and confirm with the Enter
3.     Click on clear TPM and then restart
4.     Keep F2 pressed in order to enter the BIOS setup menu
5.     Navigate to Security > TPM Configuration, set Pending Operation to TPM Clear and confirm with Enter
5b.    Navigate to Security and set Secure Boot to disabled
6.     Press F4 and confirm the save and reset/exit' with Enter
7.     Only if your current TPM version is 2.0 (v5.x):
        - Re-enter the BIOS via F2 method
        - Navigate to Security > TPM Configuration and set Security Device Support to Disabled
        - Press F4 and confirm the save and reset/exit with Enter
8.     During boot press F7 and select your EFI USB stick as boot device
9.     Follow on-screen instructions to either upgrade or downgrade your TPM chip
10.    Re-activate TPM and Secure Boot in BIOS & ENJOY!
